Preventing Targeted Violence Through Community Involvement

ChauTAC is focused on keeping Chautauqua County safe through community based interventions and information sharing.

Our ability to prevent acts of targeted violence relies on people like you, the eyes and ears of our community. When someone is planning an act of targeted violence, they usually exhibit pre-attack behaviors which can be resolved with proper intervention. By bringing the concerning behavior to the attention of ChauTAC, you are playing an essential part in helping to guide a person away from the path of violence.

ChauTAC is a partnership of corporations, schools, colleges, social service agencies, mental health professionals, and local and federal law enforcement uniting to prevent targeted violence in Chautauqua County, NY.
